Winky Boo Is Searching For Child Models!

As we move full force into our children’s clothing collections, we are seeking child models! Is your child cute? (of course you’re going to answer yes). Do you want your child on our website, representing the Winky Boo brand?! Again, of course you do!!

If you feel your child has what it takes to be a Winky Boo model, we want to hear from you!

Email us at winkyboollc (at) gmail (dot) com ONLY IF your child meets these requirements below:

1. Is between the age of 6 years old to 11 years old.

2. Is located in the New Jersey area.

3. Is willing to travel (with a parent or guardian) if necessary for a photo-shoot in New Jersey. NO shoots will take place out of state.

Your child does NOT need experience or professional photos. If your child (male or female) meets the requirements above, please contact us via email at the address listed above.

Please attach at least 1 – 2 photos of your child. These can be candid photos or school photos, just a simple photo that we can see the child clearly in. Please include a contact email and phone number, as well as your child’s age in the email. Compensation for the shoot will be discussed once your child is selected and if chosen we are hoping to use your child for several photo-shoots in the future for the Winky Boo brand.

Cyber Monday Likely to be the Biggest Shopping Day of the Year

Some of you I’m sure cannot keep up with these shopping holiday sales the last few days. We’ve had Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and now tomorrow is Cyber Monday. The days after Thanksgiving give shoppers an opportunity to get a leg up on their Christmas Shopping and it seems this year Cyber Monday might be the biggest and busiest shopping day of them all!

177 million people are expected to log online tomorrow (Monday) and take advantage of Cyber Monday deals. Some retailers are extending it into Cyber week giving the shoppers enough time between work and the holiday to grab those bargains. 68 billion dollars worth of purchases are expected to happen on Cyber Monday. That’s a whole lot of people and a whole lot of money!

But whether you enjoy the hype of these “made up” retail holidays or not, it IS worth your time to check out the sales especially online tomorrow.

“The descriptions and reviews are so much better online so you can compare and price shop and for the most part get free shipping,” said Matt Sexton, 39, who lives in Queens, N.Y., and is a manager at a utility company.

Sexton started his Christmas shopping on Black Friday all from his iPad tablet raking in a laptop from Best Buy for $399, a $200 savings, among other deals.

Well for starters, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to vote for Winky Boo for Chase & Living Social’s Mission: Small Business contest for us to qualify for a chance to win a $250k small business grant!!! We DID qualify a week ago & hit 250 & surpassed it and I am just so thankful to all of you who cared enough and supported Winky Boo. Now we wait patiently for the judging panel to look over our business and our answers to the questions they provided and pray that we end up being one of the 12 Winners to win the $250 k small business grant!!
