Winky Boo Behind The Scenes

Typically I get so caught up in planning, styling and dressing the models during our photo-shoots that I forget I have my camera there to take candid shots of everything going on behind the the scenes.  This time I remembered but I wasn’t able to capture as much as I would have liked because it was cold and quite windy so props were blowing and my model was freezing.

Overall our shoot was a complete success and the pictures came out AMAZING.  I’ve gotten a ton of feedback from people saying I did a good job of capturing my brand as a whole in the photos.  They remained fun, stylish, innovative, playful, imaginative and showed off the designs perfectly all while keeping with the Winky Boo brand.

I have several people to thank for that because although I handle everything alone for Winky Boo I do have special individuals who help with certain aspects of the business.  Our amazing photography, Focused In Photography always takes my vision and crazy ideas, locations & props and produces an incredible outcome for Winky Boo.  I am so thankful he found Winky Boo and approached us because I am never disappointed with any of our shoots.  It’s often hard to find a good photographer that understands the vision you are conveying and transforms that into a photograph.  He’s become a great friend and a great addition to the Winky Boo Team.  Many of you have heard me talk about him (Adam) before but if not just go check out his website and Facebook page or simply look at our website to see his incredible work!

Special Thanks to our model, Nikki!  In case you haven’t noticed she’s been in EVERY single one of our photo-shoots from the time we launched Winky Boo until today.  She represents the brand very well with her personality and style and does a great job at correlating every aspect of what we are looking for into a single photo.  Aside from being a personal friend of mine she is a spectacular model and again are so thankful to have her as part of Winky Boo!!

Lastly, big thanks to my assistant for getting together every single prop needed to make this happen as well as helping to reserve the location which was a HUGE help in making this shoot happen!

Thank you all for freezing that day too – it was totally worth it though!! :)
